Outside Sales Representative Building Materials & Construction Sales Our client is a leading wholesale distributor of building materials with a long-standing reputation for quality, service, and reliability. Serving both the commercial and residential construction markets, they specialize in building envelope products, including roofing and related exterior building solutions. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to manage and expand an established territory in the Youngstown, Ohio market. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional with experience in building materials, roofing, construction products, wholesale distribution, or contractor sales.

What You'll Do

• Develop and grow business within an established sales territory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with roofing contractors, builders, general contractors, distributors, architects, and other construction professionals.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate new accounts through prospecting and networking.
• Manage and grow existing customer relationships while increasing market share.
• Promote a portfolio of premium building envelope and roofing products.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales opportunities.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure successful project execution. What We're Looking For
• Experience as an Outside Sales Representative, Territory Sales Representative, Account Manager, Business Development Representative, or Sales Executive within the building materials, roofing, construction products, or wholesale distribution industries.
• Knowledge of building envelope systems, roofing products, siding, waterproofing, insulation, or related construction materials is highly preferred.
• Established relationships with contractors, builders, developers, or other construction industry professionals.
• Strong business development and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
