Join the RaceWay Team as a Cashier/Sales Associate! We are looking for friendly, reliable, and motivated individuals who enjoy working with customers and being part of a team. Starting pay is $11.00 per hour, with opportunities for pay increases based on performance, reliability, attendance, and work ethic. Previous experience is preferred but not requiredwe are willing to train the right person.

Duties

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Operate the cash register and POS system accurately
• Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays
• Keep the store clean, organized, and well stocked
• Check inventory and report low-stock items
• Follow store policies and procedures

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Assist customers with product inquiries, upselling opportunities, and product demos to boost sales
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are stocked neatly on shelves
• Manage inventory by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and reporting low inventory levels
• Follow phone etiquette protocols when answering customer calls or inquiries
• Support team members with cashiering duties, including basic math calculations for transactions and returns Experience
• Prior retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
• Experience in grocery store operations or similar retail environments is beneficial
• Demonstrated ability to perform retail math accurately during transactions
• Supervising experience is a plus, especially when assisting in training or mentoring new team members
