Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping experience
• Assist shoppers with product information, demonstrations, and upselling opportunities to enhance their purchase decisions
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the store is clean, attractive, and well-maintained
• Manage inventory by stocking new products and conducting regular stock checks to prevent shortages
• Maintain professional phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and following planograms for visual appeal Skills
• Proven experience in retail sales or grocery store environments with supervising experience preferred
• Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities to serve diverse customers effectively
• Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions and cash handling
• Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for sales totals, discounts, and inventory counts
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques and product demos to engage customers actively
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and patience in handling inquiries or complaints
• Experience in upselling to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
