Full description of the position

Specialty Insulation is hiring a motivated Residential Sales Consultant to meet with homeowners, evaluate insulation and energy-efficiency concerns, prepare proposals, and help customers choose the right home-improvement solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled in-home consultations
• Inspect attics, crawlspaces, and other areas of the home
• Identify insulation, air-sealing, ventilation, and moisture concerns
• Prepare accurate scopes and proposals
• Explain recommendations, rebates, and financing options
• Follow up with customers and maintain an organized sales pipeline
• Coordinate sold projects with the operations team

Qualifications

• Five years previous sales experience preferred
• Home improvement, construction, HVAC, roofing, or insulation experience is a plus
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and dependable
• Comfortable entering attics and crawlspaces
• Valid driver's license
• Comfortable using email, estimating software, and logging progress Insulation experience is helpful but not required. Training is available for the right candidate. What We Offer
