Duties

• Operate the cash register accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product selections.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales.
• Manage retail sales transactions efficiently, ensuring all purchases are processed correctly using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
• Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure a tidy, attractive store environment that promotes product visibility and accessibility.
• Assist with inventory management by receiving shipments, stocking products, and conducting regular stock checks.
• Maintain professional phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely to uphold our store's reputation for excellent communication. Skills
• Proficiency in POS systems and cash register operations to ensure smooth checkout experiences.
• Previous supervising experience is a plus for supporting team members during busy periods.
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, discounts, and inventory counts.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities.
• Experience in product demos and upselling techniques to enhance sales performance.
• Knowledge of retail store product lines, merchandising strategies, and stock management practices.
• Bilingual skills are highly valued to connect with diverse customer bases effectively.
• Familiarity with grocery store operations or retail sales environments is advantageous for understanding store dynamics.
