Responsibilities

• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly
• Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries with professionalism
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and sales
• Assist with merchandising by organizing displays, restocking shelves, and ensuring products are attractively presented
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with accuracy and integrity
• Support stocking activities by unloading deliveries, organizing inventory, and maintaining stock levels on the sales floor
• Promote upselling opportunities to increase sales while respecting customer preferences
• Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and exceptional customer experiences
• Support bilingual customers by providing clear assistance in multiple languages when needed Experience
• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
• Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures is highly desirable
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
• Experience conducting product demos or engaging customers through active selling techniques
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a valuable asset
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations
• Knowledge of merchandising standards and stocking procedures to keep the store organized and inviting
