Are you passionate about building materials and ready to take your industry knowledge to the next level in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment? Cyr Lumber , a locally-owned leader in the building supply industry, is looking for a Sales Professional to join our team as an Outside Sales Rep, Or Estimator, depending on your background and strengths.

What You'll Do

:

• Manage and grow a book of business made up of contractors, homeowners, and builders
• Read blueprints and do accurate takeoffs for framing and building materials
• Provide quotes, create sales orders, and follow through to ensure top-notch customer service
• Visit job sites, meet with clients, and build relationships that turn into long-term partnerships
• Proactively seek out new business via networking, cold calls, referrals, and inbound leads
• Coordinate with inside sales, yard staff, and delivery to ensure jobs go smoothly What We're Looking For:
• Strong knowledge of framing, construction , and building materials
• Ability to read blueprints and perform material takeoffs
• Proven ability to close sales , hit goals, and service accounts with professionalism
• Self-starter who thrives on the road but can also write up accurate sales orders and quotes in the office
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
