Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Pawn Broker to join our team. As a Pawn Broker, bilingual skills preferred (Spanish - English) but not required, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our customers while managing the buying, selling, and pawning of items. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Duties

• Translators must ensure accurate translations and provide excellent customer support.
• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
• Assess the value of items brought in for pawn or sale, utilizing knowledge of retail math and market trends.
• Conduct transactions accurately using cash registers and maintain proper stock levels of merchandise.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding their transactions, including loan terms and item evaluations.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment to enhance customer experience.
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring all questions are addressed promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance.
• Stay informed about current trends in the pawn industry to provide knowledgeable service. Experience
• Bilingual candidates are highly desirable as they can assist a broader range of customers.
• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and basic retail math is essential.
• Experience in grocery store environments or similar retail settings is a plus but not required.
