Full description of the position

We are looking for excellent communicators who are compassionate, driven, and self-motivated to help grow our Indianapolis market. The Sales Professional "Advisor" will work by appointment to assist clients with the arrangement and sale of pre-planned funeral services. Clients seeking our services are connected with the counselor through an ever-growing list of hot/warm leads. The Counselor plays an essential role in generating revenue for the funeral home by personalizing a package which would best represent the client's final wishes. Sales appointments are arranged and ran by the counselor on a schedule at a time and location that best suits the needs of the clients we serve. Compassion and professionalism are a must, as many of the sales appointments may take place in the home of the client or at one of our many funeral home locations. Self-motivated individuals with a passion for success have the ability to earn $100,000+ annually.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of college or an equivalent of education and experience Experience
• High school equivalency and 1-2 years of college or an equivalent of education and experience
• 1-2 years of customer service or sales industry experience preferred Licenses
• Current state/province issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to obtain Indiana Life Insurance license or currently licensed. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Must be able to pass the Company's internal presentation certification within thirty days of hire
• Must have reliable transportation
• Flexible schedule, may require evening and weekend appointments
• Ability to travel within area of operation
• Ability to obtain and maintain an insurance license if required by state/province
• Ability to convey empathy and respect
• Basic computer skills/Microsoft Office/Sales Force
• Customer service skills
