Overview

We are a locally owned flooring store specializing in carpet, area rugs, luxury vinyl, and installation. We are a small, growing business where every team member plays an important role in creating a great customer experience. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, stays organized, pays attention to detail, and isn't afraid to do labor with the rest of us. This is an opportunity to grow with a company and take on increasing responsibility over time. This position combines customer-facing sales responsibilities with hands-on warehouse and operational work. Candidates should be comfortable helping customers one moment and unloading shipments, moving rugs, organizing inventory, or assiting in the warehouse the next.

Duties

• Assist customers in selecting flooring products and area rugs
• Support the sales team by coordinating calendar management, scheduling meetings, and preparing necessary documentation.
• Handle incoming calls via multi-line phone systems with professionalism, ensuring excellent phone etiquette and customer service.
• Prepare estimates and sales quotes
• Provide exceptional customer support by responding promptly to inquiries, supporting client communication, and maintaining positive relationships.
• Maintain showroom displays and product samples
• Receive and organize inventory shipments
• Assist with warehouse operations including unloading, stocking, organzing, and moving flooring products
• Move, roll, process and load carpet and flooring products for customers and installers
• Work closely with installers to ensure projects run smoothly
• Learn all aspects of our business to contribte wherever help is needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's license and transportation
• Ability to lift and move 50lbs+ regularly
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable using computers, email, and basic business software
• Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
• Ability to work indepently, yet also as a team at times, and take initiative
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to perform both sales and physical warehouse duties
• Ability to work evenings and Saturdays Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
