About the Role

As an Inside Sales / Technical Estimator, you will work directly with customers to prepare quotations, recommend materials and manufacturing processes, process orders, and provide outstanding customer support. This position combines technical analysis, estimating, and customer relationship management. It requires excellent mathematical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and our production team. What You Will Do

Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations from customer drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. Review customer applications and recommend appropriate materials and manufacturing methods. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through outstanding service and technical support. Process orders and coordinate with production to ensure customer expectations are met. Follow up on quotations and identify new business opportunities. Maintain accurate customer, pricing, and estimating records. Work closely with engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing personnel. Learn Atlantic Gasket's manufacturing processes, materials, and capabilities to become a trusted technical resource for customers. What We Are Looking For Degree in Business, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Mathematics, or a related field preferred. Exceptional mathematical aptitude and analytical skills are required. Minimum two (2) years of sales experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial products, or business-to-business sales. Experience quoting or estimating custom manufactured products, industrial components, or engineered materials is highly desirable. However, we are willing to train the right candidate who possesses excellent mathematical ability, a strong work ethic, and a desire to build a long-term career with Atlantic Gasket. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to read engineering drawings or blueprints is a plus.
