Abbey Placements is looking for a regional sales manager for a manufacturing company in the Peoria, IL area. Description of Regional Sales Manager

• Manage the sales team, including both standard product and special product account managers
• Promote and retain the sales of products and services to existing and new mining customers
• Prospect and secure an international sales network in target countries and markets
• Provide training to sales associates, third-party personnel, dealers and brokers to ensure future success in these markets
• Perform research to investigate potential products, services, or niche markets
• Full-time, direct hire position

Requirements

of Regional Sales Manager

• Sales management experience in the mining or agricultural industries preferred
• Willingness to accommodate planned and unplanned travel to various domestic and international locations
• Experience selling to customers over the phone, particularly high dollar products with long sales cycles
• Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Salesforce, Office 365, and mobile phone applications for iPhones
• Must pass a drug screen and a criminal background check
• Reliable work history with good references required
