Sales Manager JBRE & Co. | REAL Broker Reports to: Head of Sales Location: Flagstaff, Arizona Blended Income Range: $150,000-$175,000 Base salary: $75,000 Quarterly Profit share: 4%-7% Employment type: Full-time We measure success one client at a time by the promise we keep, not the deals we close. One client. One promise. No exceptions. Why this role exists JBRE & Co. is hiring a Sales Manager whose entire job is to make our agents better and hold them accountable to results not to close deals themselves. As we grow our roster of producing agents and drive aggressive year-over-year volume growth, this is the leader who owns the number for the sales team. Built the way a top-tier brokerage operator would design it: someone who protects the standard, coaches to the number, and refuses to let talented people underperform. You turn activity into production and potential into proof. If an agent is off-pace, you diagnose it, build the plan, and coach them back. If the business unit is off-pace, you own the growth plan that fixes it. This is a leadership and accountability seat, not a producing-agent seat. Success is measured by the production of the agents you lead not by your personal transactions. What you own (accountabilities)
- Agent accountability Own the results of the sales team. Hold every agent accountable to committed activity, pipeline, and closed-production targets on a consistent weekly cadence.
- Coaching to results Coach agents on prospecting, lead conversion, buyer consultations, listing appointments, follow-up, negotiation, and pipeline discipline. Move the number, not just the mood.
- Education & training delivery Deliver ongoing sales education (live training, role-play, script mastery, and skill development) that raises the floor and the ceiling of the team's performance.
- Growth plans & intervention Build individualized 30/60/90-day growth and intervention plans for underperforming or off-pace agents, and know when to reassess, extend, or exit.
- Business-unit growth planning Own the growth plan for the sales business unit as a whole: forecast, set targets, identify the constraint, and build the plan that moves total team volume toward company goals.
- Standard enforcement Protect the JBRE standard of client service and professional conduct across every agent interaction. The promise is non-negotiable.
- Recruiting & onboarding support Partner with leadership to onboard new agents, ramp apprentices through their proving period, and help the right talent self-select onto the right pathway. Key deliverables Weekly
- Run structured 1:1s / huddles with each agent covering production, pipeline, one blocker, and one commitment.
- Review the team sales scorecard and dashboard; flag off-pace agents and watch-area risks.
- Deliver at least one live training / skill-building block (script mastery, role-play, or tactical coaching).
- Report team leading indicators and results into the weekly leadership readout (L10 / scorecard). Monthly
- Publish a business-unit performance review: production vs. target, close rates, pipeline health, and watch areas.
- Deliver or refresh individualized growth/intervention plans for any agent below pace.
- Identify the team's primary constraint and the specific plan to remove it. Quarterly
- Present a sales-unit growth plan tied to company volume goals forecast, targets, hiring/ramp needs, and the levers to hit the number.
- Lead a quarterly training arc that advances team skill (e.g., listing conversion, buyer commitment, negotiation, follow-up systems).
- Review agent tier progression and readiness (Foundation Producer Top 1%). Ongoing
- Maintain a documented, repeatable coaching and training system that survives turnover and scales with the team.
- Keep accurate accountability records: commitments made, plans issued, progress against plan. How you'll be measured (KPIs)
- Total team closed volume & GCI vs. target the primary scoreboard.
- Year-over-year sales-volume growth for the business unit.
- Percentage of agents at or above their production pace.
- Team close rate (closed leads) and pipeline conversion trends.
- Ramp speed of new/apprentice agents to first and repeat closings.
- Reduction in "watch area" agents fewer agents with zero new closings, stalled offers, or conversion problems.
- Retention of productive agents and successful graduation through tier pathways. Who you are (requirements) Required
- Minimum 10 years of sales experience in client-facing industries ideally consumer/high-touch relationship selling, not primarily B2B.
- Proven six-figure selling a documented, verifiable track record of personally closing six-figure sales (deal size and/or personal earnings).
- Demonstrated ability to build growth plans for a business unit as a whole not just individual quota carrying, but ownership of a team or unit number.
- Coaching and accountability leadership a history of making other salespeople better and holding them to results, with evidence of the production lift you created.
- Comfort with metrics and dashboards able to read a scorecard, diagnose the constraint, and build a data-backed plan.
- The temperament to hold a high standard direct, caring, and unwilling to let talent underperform. You coach hard and lead with integrity. Preferred / a plus
- Real estate sales or brokerage experience (strongly preferred, but not strictly required we will train the real estate specifics for the right sales leader).
- Experience in an EOS-run organization (L10 meetings, scorecards, accountability chart).
- Familiarity with CRM discipline (Follow Up Boss or similar) and sales-enablement tooling.
- Active real estate license or willingness to obtain one What we offer
- A defined leadership seat with real authority over the sales function and clear ownership of the number.
- $75,000 base salary plus 4%-7% quarterly profit share that ties your upside directly to the growth you create.
- A fast-scaling team with systems, dashboards, training assets, and a strong brand behind you.
- Access to the Build The Standard training library and coaching frameworks to amplify your impact.
- The chance to build a sales organization the right way where proof, not potential, is the standard. Pay: From $75,000.00 per year Application Question(s):
