This is a growth position with exceptional compensation available to an assertive individual! POSITION OVERVIEW: The Salesperson's responsibility is to continue growing new business and support existing clients in equipment sales and rentals. SOME KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Represents the company for the sale of new and used machinery to customers Grow assigned territory sales and market share Grow assigned territory rental revenue Maintain current knowledge of wholesale used equipment values Regularly travel territory and interact with customers in the designated territory to support retail sales as well as aftermarket business (parts & service)

• Communicates and works directly with customers and prospective customers to provide presale application support, quotations, and orders using order entry systems.
• Builds and maintains positive relationships with customers and co-workers.
• Generates formal quotations and provides customer leads to the outside sales representatives.
• Demonstrates proficiency in entering orders and preparing quotations for the customer while responding quickly to customers.
• Utilizes vendor/supplier representatives consistently to grow sales, source products, and close deals.
• When needed, communicate effectively with other departments, such as Purchasing, Accounting, and Operations.
• Develops a strong sense of urgency in following up with quotations and sales leads assures customers receive proper paperwork for credit applications.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• High energy and demonstrated leadership skills
• 4 to 5 years of outside sales experience with large equipment is required.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to effectively respond to questions from managers, supervisors, and outside entities
• Must have the ability to work with a minimum of supervision
• Impeccable business and ethical standards
• Must be able to travel 70% of the time.
• Ability to maintain confidential information
• Mechanical and equipment aptitude. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
