: SMR HomePros , is a family-owned and locally-operated leader in home improvement in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.SMR HomePros is seeking motivated Field Marketing Representatives (Canvassers) to join our growing team. We specialize in providing homeowners with top-quality home improvement services. At SMR HomePros , customer satisfaction is our top priority, and we foster a strong sense of teamwork and a positive company culture. Your Role: As a Field Marketing Representative, you will be a vital part of our growth, acting as the initial point of contact for potential SMR HomePros customers. Your primary requirements will be to engage with homeowners, identify their home improvement needs, and schedule free, no-obligation estimates with our expert Estimators.

Responsibilities

:

• Professionally represent SMR HomePros while going door-to-door in residential areas.
• As you approach homes, visually identify potential exterior improvement needs (e.g., older roofs, worn siding, outdated windows).
• Confidently initiate conversations with homeowners, build rapport, and skillfully uncover their current or future home improvement needs.
• Clearly articulate the value of our services and successfully set appointments for our Estimators to provide free consultations.
• Diligently collect all necessary contact and appointment information from interested homeowners.
• Promptly call in your generated leads to our in-office confirmer to ensure appointment accuracy and customer preparedness.
• Travel to and from designated canvassing areas with the team (transportation provided from the office no need to use your own vehicle for fieldwork!). Skills:

• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while also being a team player.
• Ability to quickly learn and effectively communicate our range of services.
• Keen eye for detail to identify potential home improvement needs.
• Goal-oriented with a strong desire to achieve and exceed targets.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Previous canvassing, sales, or customer service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates who demonstrate a strong aptitude for the role.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.

Requirements

:

• Full Time Position: Monday-Friday; 40 hours per week
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
• A willingness to learn and be coached daily.
