Full description of the position

An international food company is seeking a Bilingual English/Japanese Sales Representative to join their marketing department in Torrance, CA. This position is responsible for general sales activities and developing new clients as well as maintaining existing clients. A bachelor's degree, the ability to speak conversational Japanese, 5 years of B2B sales experience, basic PC skills, and ability to travel is required. The ability to speak Korean or Mandarin is a big plus. This is a full-time, in-person, exempt position with excellent benefits and 401k, plus bonus. Bilingual English/Japanese Sales Representative

Duties

: -Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, etc -Visiting prospective customers and conducting sales promotions -Preparing quotations and negotiating prices with customers -Demonstrating machines in the showroom or at customer sites (may involve carrying heavy machines) -Delivering machines and providing operation training upon delivery -Providing after-sales support to customers -Attending internal sales meetings -Preparing sales activity reports for the manager -Preparing in-house documents for machine shipments -Assisting visitors at exhibitions -Supporting technical team and other departments as needed Bilingual English/Japanese Sales Representative Skills: -Must have a bachelor's degree -Must speak/read/write Japanese -Must have 5 years sales experience in related industries -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Words, PowerPoint) -Interest in Japanese (food) culture -Ability to speak Korean or Mandarin is a big plus
