Full job description We are looking for Landscape Designer that likes to sell projects. You love to design and interface with customers. We are a full in-house Design/Build Landscape company. We install Pools/spa, Pergolas, Outdoor Kitchens, Paving stones, Concrete, pretty much everything outdoors. You are someone who loves Landscape Design and dealing directly with customers. We will give you the design leads and you sell a landscape designs as well as construction contracts. Our teams will take it over from there and install your vision. You will work under a very seasoned designer with over 30 years of experience and learn all the fine details of the Design/Build process. We'll help you with construction details, hillside conditions, pergola design, swimming pool layouts and Space Planning. Being a part of a winning team, you will increase your skills across all levels and see your designs regularly installed. Responsibilities

:

• Professionally represent Picture Build through direct interaction with clients, crews, and staff.
• Meet with qualified prospective clients, sell the value of working with Picture Build
• Be able to quickly assess the customers' needs through sketching and showing our portfolio, demonstrate that you are the designer they want to work with.
• Accurately ballpark customers project before engaging in a landscape design to set a realistic expectation of what the project would cost
• Sell the landscape design
• Keep the design budget in check as you develop the design, with the goal of hitting customer expectations
• Sell the landscape installation contract
• Be a gracious Ambassador through consistent communication and good public relations with customers
• Have the intention to solve the customers' problems and be their advocate by advising them of best practices
• Love to sell
• Involvement with our monthly Home and Garden Shows Skills Required:
• Experience in creating landscape designs
• Knowledge of Southern California plant palette
• Great communication skills and customer follow-up
• Open to constantly learning the design/build process
• Positive, professional attitude & appearance
• Previous Design/Build sales is a huge plus but we will train the right candidate
• Solid presentation, written, and oral communication skills
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Have reliable transportation, CA Driver's License and auto insurance
