Sales Associate Equipment Retail We're looking for a friendly, reliable, customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. You'll be the main point of contact for customers, drive equipment sales, manage the full sales process from inquiry to delivery and payment, keep the sales floor organized and appealing, and support daily store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service: greet customers, listen to needs, recommend products, demonstrate features, answer questions, and help them decide.
• Actively sell equipment and accessories: spot upsell/cross-sell opportunities, promote offers, and meet/exceed personal & team sales goals.
• Manage the full sales cycle: process orders, update customers on status, coordinate with suppliers/delivery teams, follow up until delivery and full payment.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, orders, deliveries, and payments using POS and tracking tools.
• Keep sales floor stocked, clean, organized, and visually appealing; ensure products are priced and displayed properly.
• Receive shipments, verify contents, inspect for damage, and move merchandise to floor/storage.
• Assist with inventory: stock counts, low-stock alerts, discrepancy resolution.
• Handle payments (cash, card, etc.) accurately; process returns/exchanges.
• Resolve customer issues professionally; escalate when needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned (opening/closing, cleaning, merchandising, projects).

Required Qualifications

• Retail, customer service, or sales experience preferred (equipment/hardware ideal, but not requiredstrong willingness to learn OK).
• Great communication skills and genuine enthusiasm for helping customers.
• Sales-driven mindset: build rapport, handle objections, close sales.
• Detail-oriented and organized; able to track orders and juggle tasks.
• Basic math skills for transactions and change.
• Physically able to lift/move up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, stock/receive merchandise.
• Comfortable learning POS systems and basic computer tools (training provided).
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred
• Familiarity with equipment/products sold (or ability to learn quickly).
• Experience with order fulfillment, delivery coordination, or inventory receiving.
• Proven sales results or outstanding customer service track record. What We Offer
