Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator/Sales professional to join our growing construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, developing competitive bids, and driving sales through effective client engagement. Your expertise will help ensure project profitability while fostering strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors. Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive construction estimates by analyzing project plans, specifications, and scope of work using industry-standard software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop accurate pricing strategies that align with project budgets and timelines.
• Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analyses to ensure precise bid submissions.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to present proposals, negotiate terms, and secure contracts that meet company objectives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, material costs, and labor rates to refine estimating accuracy.
• Assist in managing project budgets by monitoring costs and implementing effective cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support contract development by reviewing terms, scope changes, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards. Skills
• Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HeavyBid; experience with Bluebeam is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills to effectively discuss pricing, scope adjustments, and contractual terms.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, site operations, and project management principles.
• Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, cost control methods, and pricing strategies.
• Hands-on construction site experience to better interpret plans and assess real-world project challenges.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
