Pay: $65,000 base + uncapped commission (realistic first-year earnings $85,000; top first-year BDM earned $145,000) Job type: Full-time, in-office (Crown Center, Kansas City, MO) About the role WLX | Western Logistics Express, a growing Kansas City freight brokerage, is hiring entry-level Business Development Managers for our paid BDM Academy training program. No logistics or sales experience required we teach you the industry, the craft, and the playbook. You bring the work ethic and the will to win.

Responsibilities

- High-volume outbound prospecting (phone, email, LinkedIn) to build a book of business - Manage customer relationships and daily freight operations for your accounts - Negotiate rates, solve problems, and own outcomes from first call to delivered load - Hit and exceed measurable activity and revenue goals

Qualifications
