We are an independent community pharmacy located in the Tampa Bay Area, providing traditional prescription and non-sterile compounding prescription services and long term care services, with specialization in hormone replacement, gastroenterology, internal medicine, pediatrics, and immunization, while providing free delivery services The Marketing Representative is responsible for promoting the services of the pharmacy by marketing to physician offices, hospitals, long term/senior living, ALF, clinics, Hospice care etc. The goal of the position is to gain new customers, grow prescription sales and maintain relationships with those accounts.

Responsibilities

:

• Travel required to visit physician offices, clinics, hospitals, long term/senior living to promote the services of the pharmacy
• Previous marketing and/or healthcare experience preferred
• Outgoing personality with ability to speak with other professionals
• Business-oriented mindset; Obtains relationships with businesses
• Makes phone calls to future clients and sets up meetings
• Attends meetings in-person with future clients and gains business agreements
• Interest in the medical profession
• Has a vehicle and is willing to drive to business partner locations
• Reliable, self-starter, ability to think and create new ideas easily
• Plan, implement and attend meetings to promote the services of the pharmacy
• Assist with and facilitate marketing campaigns within the territory
• Provide status reports and progress on customer visits
• Review reports of new prescriptions and provide proper follow up with accounts
• Follow designated protocol for maintaining expense reports

Qualifications

:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing fields required
• Experience: Preferred Pharmaceutical or related industry experience preferred but not Necessary
• Licensing: Valid Driver's license with clean driving record is required. Schedule:
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Internship Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
