Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to understand their furniture needs and preferences
• Conduct engaging product demonstrations and explain features to help customers make informed decisions
• Assist with merchandising and stocking furniture displays to create attractive, organized shopping areas
• Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Upsell additional products, accessories, or services to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain knowledge of current inventory levels, product details, and store promotions
• Support in supervising team members when needed, ensuring smooth store operations and excellent customer experiences

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales experience, preferably in furniture or related home goods industries
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus
• Experience with POS systems, cashiering, retail math, and retail transactions
• Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience is desirable
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
• Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and inventory management tasks efficiently
• Familiarity with grocery store experience or similar fast-paced environments is advantageous
