Inside Sales Representative Compressed Air & Vacuum Systems $23.00 - $26.00 / hr | Toledo, OH | Full-Time Diversified Air Systems (DAS), an MCE Company | Reports to: Inside Sales Manager Are you an energetic, goal-oriented sales professional who thrives on keeping customers informed, solving problems fast, and finding opportunities to grow accounts? As an Inside Sales Representative at DAS, you will be the primary inside contact for a portfolio of small and mid-sized accounts, managing the full sales process from quoting through order entry to follow-up. You will work alongside the outside sales team and service coordinators to ensure customers get the right compressed air and vacuum solutions, accurate order information, and the responsive service that keeps them coming back. This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role that rewards people who are organized, persuasive, and genuinely enjoy helping customers solve problems. What You'll Do

Account Management and Growth

• Manage multiple customer accounts to achieve growth and margin objectives.
• Grow existing accounts through proactive upselling and identifying new opportunities within your account base.
• Identify accounts that are declining in sales and proactively reach out to re-engage them and secure additional orders.
• Determine customer requirements and expectations and recommend the specific products and solutions that best meet their needs.
• Educate customers on compressed air and vacuum system terminology, product features, and benefits to improve product-related sales and customer satisfaction. Quoting, Orders and Customer Service
• Create and follow up on quotes in a timely and accurate manner.
• Accurately process customer transactions including orders, quotes, and returns.
• Proactively keep customers informed of their quote and order status, delays, and any changes.
• Respond quickly to customer outreach, answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems with a sense of urgency.
• Recommend alternative products based on cost, availability, or specifications when needed.
• Present price, credit, and terms in accordance with standard procedures and customer profiles.
• Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items. Operations and Team Support
• Pull and stage inventory for service orders as needed.
• Identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction and communicate findings effectively to management.
• Coordinate with service technicians as needed to support customer requests. What We're Looking For Must Have:
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service on every interaction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a persuasive, goal-oriented approach.
• Energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills; able to prioritize effectively across a busy account portfolio.
• Proficiency with ERP, CRM, inventory software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• High school diploma or GED; relevant experience is equally valued. Nice to Have:
• Experience in service coordination of technicians in a field service or industrial environment.
• Background in compressed air, vacuum systems, or related industrial products.
