Job Summary

• Nooga Mattress is a family owned / operated retail mattress store. We have two locations and we are expanding operations.
• Both stores are located in major shopping districts in high profile, high traffic areas.
• Our company is a dealer for several major brand Mattress products & is open 6 & 1/2 days a week.

• The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years retail sales experience with a solid closing track record. Mattress sales experience is also a plus.
• This person would be responsible for selling in retail Mattress sales. Also, assist with some mattress deliveries at times. Retail Sales and excellent closing experience is a MUST! Those with No sales and closing experience need not apply!!
• This position has a base salary with a good commission structure as well as bonus & incentive opportunities commensurate with experience & performance
• Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Bilingual abilities are desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Strong communication skills for engaging customers and team members
• Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for transactions and inventory management
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Familiarity with retail math principles for upselling and sales tracking purposes
• Attention to detail in product presentation, organization, and transaction accuracy

Duties

• Greet customers warmly upon entry & assist them in locating products or services
• Provide detailed product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits
• Upsell products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction
• Maintain visual merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring products are well-stocked and appealing
• Help manage inventory levels, and assist with inventory counts
• Handle customer inquiries professionally via phone or in person, adhering to proper phone etiquette
• Conduct product demos to showcase products or special promotions effectively
• Support store operations by managing stockroom organization and ensuring safety standards are met
