Job Title: Interior Design Showroom Textile & Wallcovering Sales Specialist Job

Overview

: We are seeking a proactive, customer-focused, sales-driven individual to join our dynamic team as an Interior Design Showroom Textile & Wallcovering Sales Specialist. In this role, you will provide essential support to our Textile Department by assisting designers with textile and wallcovering knowledge, pricing, stock availability, and order processing. If you're passionate about creating lasting relationships within the interior design community and you have a keen eye for detail, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a creative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Textile Sales: Collaborate with the inside and outside sales teams to brainstorm best practices for growing sales. Stay informed on designer's upcoming and current projects, and source/suggest product that will benefit their needs both proactively and in the showroom.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products to better assist designers. You will be trained to become a textile and wallcovering expert. Be proactive in suggestions/warnings of what type of products will and will not work for specific needs.
• Designer Support: Respond to designer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, lead times, and order status via phone, email, or in-person at the showroom. Troubleshoot issues promptly and work to find the best solution to maintain client happiness and secure continued trust.
• Administrative Support: Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and follow-up. You will learn many vendor websites and internal program operations to aid in order entry.

Qualifications

:

• Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer service, preferably in the interior design or home furnishings industry.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be adaptable to change.
• Must be able to work independently, as well as with a team.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general website functions is a must.
• Must be technologically inclined.
• An associate's degree in interior design or a similar field is required. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5pm Pay: $18-$19/hour plus commission Please visit [please apply online] for more information on our business philosophy and our impact within the design community.
